Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ousted prominent staffers amid the continuing war with Russia.

The aides ousted were his top aide Serhiy Shefir, four government workers and the nation’s Commissioner for Soldiers’ Rights, according to the New York Post

As of now it is not known why the officials were removed from their positions.

This comes one day after Zelensky dismissed the deputy heads of his office and earlier this week he replaced the National Security and Defense Council Secretary with the chief of his Foreign Intelligence Service.

Since Friday, Russia has launched almost 100 rocket attacks and fired 38 missiles at Ukraine.

Ukraine has been at war with Russia since February of 2022.

Last year, Russia fired one of its largest aerial attacks against Ukraine targets, firing 122 missiles and multiple drones.
