According to her latest news article, public records from a non-profit watchdog in Arizona called, The Gavel Project reveals comments made in 2021 by Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer in which he called the Constitution, "a thorn in the side of my office, specifically the First Amendment." Moreover, according to this article and official documents, the county and the Arizona Secretary of State have been working with nonprofits, social media platforms, and the federal government to suppress what they consider to be, "election disinformation." According to public records, state and county officials have used influencers to help spread their message and worked to ban social media users from the county social media accounts.
