The federal attorney leading the investigation into the fatal shooting recently in New Mexico on the filming of the movie "Rust" said Wednesday that "all options are on the table" regarding whether actor Alec Baldwin or others are facing criminal charges.

"All options are on the table at this point," District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said in the first press conference about the incident Thursday in Santa Fe in which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza wounded from a prop gun Baldwin discharged during rehearsal.

Baldwin was told before firing the gun that it did not have live ammunition. He is also a producer on the film.

"I'm not commenting on charges, whether they will be filed or not, or on who. So the answer is we cannot answer that question yet, until we complete a more thorough investigation," Carmack-Altwies also said. "No one has been ruled out at this point."

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said at the press conference that Baldwin "is obviously the person who fired the weapon, so we're going to continue interviewing and getting the facts of his statements and the evidence."
