The watchdog group Voter Reference Foundation is launching an absentee-ballot tracker in battleground states for the 2022 primary and general elections.

The election-integrity watchdog group this week is making available to the public a portal to which sent and returned absentee ballots for the midterm elections can be tracked daily in Georgia, North Carolina and Wisconsin, according to a press release

Michigan and Nevada will be added in the coming weeks. The primaries for the different states range from May through August.

"Our mission is to make voter information more accessible to the public. It is the public that bears the cost to collect and maintain this data across the country," VRF Executive Director Gina Swoboda said in a statement. "We are making elections more transparent, piece-by-piece."

The group already has a portal of voter rolls from 20 states and the District of Columbia available on its website, with other states soon to be added.
