Former Donald Trump adviser and current radio host Sebastian Gorka says that China is taunting the U.S. and other countries with the spy balloon.
"It's a message to those nations intimidated by China, whether it's Singapore, whether it's Taiwan, whether it's Vietnam to say, 'Hey, look, we can fly with impunity across U.S. airspace,'" Gorka said on the Tuesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
Last week a Chinese spy balloon was spotted entering American airspace and was eventually shot down by the military after moving out over the Atlantic Ocean.
"It's a slow moving object everybody can see," Gorka commented. "And the point was to test Biden to see what the reaction would be."
Gorka listed some of Biden's failures that he likely won't address during the State of the Union.
"He'll be describing an America that doesn't exist where the economy's just dandy," Gorka predicted. "Most Americans, whether it's in the midterms, the next ones, or whether it's in the presidential election in 24, will be voting on the disastrous economy, 9% inflation and open border fentanyl deaths."
