Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman is "on a path to recovery" after spending half a month at a D.C. military hospital being treated for depression, his office said this week.

The senator in mid-February checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in mid-February to seek voluntary treatment for clinical depression.

Fetterman spokesman Joe Calvello said on Monday that his office "don’t have a lot to update folks with since there’s no real news to report," though he added that Fetterman "is doing well, working with the wonderful doctors, and remains on a path to recovery."

The senator "is visiting with staff and family daily, and his staff are keeping him updated on Senate business and news," Calvello said in a Twitter thread.

:Our team is moving full speed ahead and working tirelessly for the people of Pennsylvania," he continued.

Fetterman struggled with health concerns during the 2022 campaign after suffering a stroke in May of last year.
