Democrat-led Jan. 6 panel reschedules final, pre-midterm hearing for next week
The committee had to cancel the hearing scheduled for last week because of Hurricane Ian.
The Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee has rescheduled it's hurricane-postpone, final, pre-midterm hearing for next week, according to a news report Thursday.
The hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 13, according to The Hill newspaper. The panel postponed the hearing last week due to Hurricane Ian.
Maryland Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin, a committee member, says the panel has an "avalanche" of new information that they plan to present. The hearing will reportedly be thematic, like the previous ones, but the focus and who might appear as witnesses remains unclear.
