The House committee investigating Jan. 6 announced early Tuesday that it will postpone its public hearing scheduled for Wednesday morning.

The third hearing in their series was expected to focus on the Justice Department in the aftermath of the November 2020 election, and former President Trump's plan to replace former acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen.

Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren (Calif.), who sits on the panel, told the press that the hearing was rescheduled due to "technical issues" and that it is "not a big deal."

"You know the staff, putting together all the videos. You know doing, one, two, three, it was overwhelming. So we're trying to give them a little room," she said.

The next installment of the live hearings will instead take place on Thursday and focus on Trump's effort to pressure then-Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to certify the election results.
