Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee on Friday revealed their plan to pass a reconciliation bill that includes billions of dollars to increase border security and national defense.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said the committee plans to mark up the 61-page proposal next week. It comes as Congress faces a March 14 deadline to fund the federal government, but both chambers need to approve the legislation.

The bill includes $175 billion to secure the southern border, and $150 billion to beef up national defense, according to The Hill newspaper. It also includes calls to complete the wall on the U.S. southern border with Mexico.

“To those who voted for and support real border security and a stronger defense in a troubled world, help is on the way,” Graham said in a statement. “This budget resolution jumpstarts a process that will give President [Donald] Trump’s team the money they need to secure the border and deport criminals, and make America strong and more energy independent."

The border security part of the bill also calls for increasing the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, increasing the amount of beds for illegal immigrants who are detained, increasing the amount of Border Patrol agents, and assistant U.S. attorneys to prosecute immigration related offenses, including violent and organized crime.
