California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell has predicted that former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will leave Congress before the end of the year, following his removal from the speaker's office and conflicts with other lawmakers. McCarthy has previously denied speculation that he will resign and asserted that he plans to run for reelection.
