America First Legal has filed a Freedom of Information Act request demanding the Justice Department release all video and audio recordings made by federal agents, including body camera footage, during the FBI's raid of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

"Releasing the entirety of the raw and unedited video footage and audio recordings will be the best chance the American people have of knowing what actually happened when federal agents descended upon and spent almost twelve hours at President Trump’s home last week," the group, whose directors include former top Trump White House staffers Mark Meadows and Stephen Miller, said Tuesday.

AFL Deputy Director of Investigations John A. Zadrozny called the raid "historically unprecedented and wholly unnecessary."

The organization is also asking for all DOJ and FBI recordings about the search warrant as well as all records about its request.
