Jury selected in Hunter Biden gun trial

The jury for first son Hunter Biden's gun case was selected and seated on Monday, consisting of 12 main jurors and four alternates. 

Opening statements will begin on Tuesday, according to CNN, where prosecutors will argue that the first son illegally purchased a gun while being addicted to drugs. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Delaware jury consists of five women and seven men, and is mostly filled with people who claim they know someone who had or is currently dealing with addiction or substance abuse. Almost every juror also said they have heard about the case on the news before, according to Fox News.

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has been accused of making false statements when purchasing the firearm, and of obtaining a gun while struggling with addiction. The young Biden could face up to a total of 25 years in prison, and face a maximum fine of $250,000 for each charge.
