Iowa GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks says that there is a list of issues including inflation, national security and illegal immigration that President Joe Biden should address in the upcoming State of the Union speech.

"I'd like him to talk about domestic energy production to reduce the cost of inflation," Rep. Miller-Meeks said on the Monday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "I would like to hear him talk about national security after what I think are huge failures in this administration regarding safety."

President Joe Biden is set to give the State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

According to Miller-Meeks, other issues that Biden needs to address include illegal immigration and the fentanyl crisis.

"Have the Customs and Border Protection slowed down illegal immigration?" Rep. Miller-Meeks asked. "We have many pull factors bringing people into the United States. But what is he going to do about the fentanyl and how it relates to the border?"

Another crucial issue that many Americans are wondering about is China and the CCP.

"What is he going to do to keep us safe?" she questioned. "What's he going to do about the increasing aggression of the Chinese Communist Party?"
