No survivors after plane carrying five crashes near Arkansas airport

A twin-engine plane crashed near the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Ark., on Wednesday, killing all five passengers aboard.

The Federal Aviation Administration identified the aircraft as a Beech BE20 that had been bound for Columbus, Ohio, the Daily Mail reported. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff and authorities are currently investigating the cause.

Authorities are reportedly investigating if weather played a role given recent thunderstorms that had hit the area. TheĀ National Transportation Safety Board is set to arrive on Wednesday to aid in the investigation.
