Tropical Storm Chantal is forming in the Atlantic on Saturday and heading toward the Carolinas.

AccuWeather reported that the storm will continue to strengthen.

The storm's maximum sustained winds were measured at 40 mph (65 kph) on Saturday morning.

The Weather Channel reported that the center of the storm is located about 150 miles south-southeast of Charleston, South Carolina.
