President Joe Biden is released from isolation after he tested negative for COVID-19 for a second day in a row on Sunday following a rebound case.

The president tested positive for COVID on July 21. While he tested negative the following week, he tested positive again more than a week ago in a "rebound infection." Biden worked virtually from the White House during this time.

Biden tested negative for a second consecutive day on Sunday, and White House Physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor stated that Biden "will safely return to engagement and presidential travel."

After being cleared, Biden left the White House for Rehoboth Beach, Del., where he owns a home, ABC News reported.
