President Biden's granddaughter to wed at the White House

Naomi Biden, the granddaughter of President Biden and daughter of Hunter Biden, has announced that she'll get married at the White House. 

"Peter and I are endlessly grateful to my Nana and Pop for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at the White House," Biden tweeted Monday about her nuptials with fiancee Peter Neal. "We can't wait to make our commitment to one another official and for what lies ahead."

The wedding will take place this fall, according to the Associated Press. The press secretary for first lady Jill Biden says the family is "still in the planning stages of all of the wedding festivities."

"Consistent with other private events hosted by the First Family and following the traditions of previous White House wedding festivities in prior Administrations, the Biden family will be paying for the wedding activities that occur at the White House," press secretary Michel LaRosa said.

The 28-year-old Biden, a graduate of Columbia Law School, got engaged to Peter Neal in September. Theirs will be the first White House wedding since the Nixon administration.
