Vice President-elect JD Vance met with Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng on Sunday ahead of the inauguration.

Vance and Han “discussed a range of topics including fentanyl, balancing trade, and regional stability,” the transition team said. 

The swearing-in ceremony takes place on Monday inside the Capitol building.
