Former Fox News Channel show host Chris Wallace reportedly will have a show on CNN, after the cable TV network folded its nascent streaming service CNN+.

Wallace's new show, set for Sunday night, was reported first by Axios, with an official announcement from Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN's new parent company, expected Wednesday.

Wallace, the former host of "Fox News Sunday," appeared to some surprise on the anchor desk of CNN's Tuesday night election coverage along with such network stars as John King, Abby Phillip and others.

CNN canceled the CNN+ project in late April.

Wallace in a recent interview said he left the Fox network after roughly 18 years because, in part, he had concerns about programming based on what he deemed to be false narratives that the 2020 presidential election was "stolen" form President Trump.
