Actor Jonathan Majors was sentenced to probation on Monday, allowing him to avoid time behind bars for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
Majors, 34, faced up to a year in prison after a jury in Manhattan found him guilty in December of harassment and 3rd-degree reckless assault.
Judge Michael Gaffey ordered the actor to complete an in-person batterer’s intervention program that will list 52 weeks, according to The Associated Press.
