Alabama law enforcement announced Wednesday that two teens have been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the shooting at a Sweet 16 birthday party that killed four people and injured 28 others in the small town of Dadeville.

District Attorney Mike Segrest said the duo would be charged as adults and prosecutors will request for them to be held without bail, The Associated Press reported.

More charges will be added, he also said.

"We’re going to make sure all those victims have justice, not just the deceased," Segrest said.

Two of the deceased were high school seniors, including Philstavious Dowdell, who was the birthday girl's brother and died in his sister's arms. The other victims are Dadeville High senior Shaunkivia Nicole Smith, 17,  Marsiah Emmanuel Collins, 19, and Corbin Dahmontrey Holston, 23.
