Houston police on Friday found dozens of people trapped inside a house, after receiving tips of possible kidnapping.

Investigators said they received the tips Thursday, which led to an all-night investigation, then rescue.

They also said they found a "disgusting" human smuggling ring and that many inside the house possibly had COVID-19, considering they complained about fever and loss of smell, typical virus symptoms.

"When we got into the house we realized that there were over 90 people inside," Commander D.B. Edwards told reporters, according to Fox News.

Police say no children were found in the house and that most of those rescued were males and only five women.
