At least three people are dead and five others are injured after a shooting erupted during an annual motorcycle rally in Red River, New Mexico, police said early Sunday morning.

Red River Mayor Linda Calhoun said the shooting appears to be related to gang violence and that all those involved are in police custody, according to local outlet KOAT.
