Poll: 36 percent believe the U.S. is more racist today than a decade ago

Polls show that behind the economy and health care, civil rights issues on the minds of voters today.

According to Scott Rasmussen’s recent poll, more than a third of voters believe that race relations have gotten worse over the past decade. 

36% of voters nationwide believe the U.S. is more racist today than it was 10 years ago. 23% think relations have gotten better, and 37% don’t think much has changed. Digging deeper into these numbers, 56% of black voters think relations are worse, and 30% of white voters feel the same.
