Golf icon Tiger Woods is rehabbing in the wake of the February vehicle accident that resulted in leg injuries that required multiple surgeries.

"This has been an entirely different animal," he said regarding the injuries, according to Golf Digest. "I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced."

Woods, who sustained comminuted open fractures of his right leg's tibia and fibula, underwent surgery following the wreck.

The outlet reported that when questioned about his hopes of golfing again, Woods did not comment but noted, "My physical therapy has been keeping me busy. I do my routines every day and am focused on my No. 1 goal right now: walking on my own. Taking it one step at a time."
