Apple, Inc. is reportedly set to slow down hiring starting next year, the latest of several major tech companies forecasting hiring slumps amid broad economic concerns.

The tech giant is allegedly planning to freeze staff acquisitions among certain project groups in 2023 and refrain from filling other positions left vacant, Bloomberg claimed this week

The company just recently released a new redesigned Macbook line and is reportedly planning to go to market with an augmented reality headset next year.

The report puts Apple in the same league as other major tech companies such as Google and Uber, which have indicated plans to tighten budgets and hiring practices as fears of a recession continue to loom.
