Young girl reportedly injured during incident.
Raleigh, North Carolina

A Christmas parade in Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday was halted amid reports that a truck participating in the event lost control and injured at least one attendee.

Video from the event circulating on social media appeared to show the truck driving through the parade with participants scattering in front of it. It was unclear if the truck's brakes had gone out or if there was some other explanation for the incident.

Local news station ABC 11 reported that participants "heard the driver screaming out of the truck's window that he had lost control and couldn't stop the vehicle."

The network cited reports indicating that the truck "hit a young girl and seriously injured her."
