A range of Google services, including YouTube, Gmail, Google Docs and Google Maps, went down Monday around the world – throttling workers, students and personal users for about an hour.

Google has not yet publicly addressed the outage. But when the systems came back online, the tech giant's workplace status dashboard displayed a message that read, "We will continue to work towards restoring service for the remaining affected users, but no further updates will be provided on the Google Workspace Status Dashboard."

The site also posted the message; "Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better."

The outage led to a slight drop in stock value of Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc., in pre-market trading.
