The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected former President Donald Trump's emergency request to intervene in a dispute over documents seized by the FBI from his Mar-a-Lago home in August.

The former president asked the justices to reverse an appeals court decision and allow a special master to review documents marked as classified, but the court denied the request in a brief order without noted dissents.

The independent special master will be unable to review the documents at this point, CNN reported.
