Former President Donald Trump remains a fundraising giant less than a year and a half out of the White House, having raised $19 million during the first three months of 2022.

During the year's first quarter, Trump’s Save America PAC, MAGA PAC, and Save America JFC (joint fundraising committee) raised nearly $20 million while having $124 million in cash on hand, according to data shared on Tuesday with Fox News.

Showing the power of Trump's grassroots fundraising, his committees reported that the average donation was $28.04 spread across more than 670,000 contributions during Q1.

Most of the donations – 98.4% – were under $200.

"President Donald J. Trump’s political organizations are positioned to carry his America First message into battleground races across the nation," Trump communications director Taylor Budowich told Fox.

The former president brought in $51 million during the second half of 2021 and had about $122 million in cash on hand at the beginning of this year, showing that Trump's committees are spending the donations.

One expense includes the $500,000 that Save America transferred to the Get Georgia Right Super PAC last month, which is working to defeat incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.

Former GOP Rep. Doug Collins, a close ally of Trump in Georgia, called on the former president to "add a couple of zeros to that" donation during an interview with "Just the News – Not Noise" earlier this week.

Trump is looking beyond midterms this November.

"President Trump is incredibly well-positioned to look beyond November as the need for his leadership has never been more important," Budowich told Fox.
