Biden to address nation Tuesday on COVID-19's spreading omicron variant, administration's response

Administration, others have already push for more Americans to get vaccinated to stop the virus from spreading.

President Biden will on Tuesday address the nation about COVID-19's omicron variant spreading through the U.S. and his administration's planned response, a White House official told NBC News on Saturday.

The president is Biden is expected to go beyond his "winter plan" to control seasonal-infection increases by adding new measures and issuing a "stark warning" to those who choose to remain unvaccinated," the official also told the network.

The administration and others have already push for more Americans to get vaccinated to stop the virus from spreading.
