The U.S. will start sharing as many as 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine worldwide once it clears federal safety reviews, the White House said Monday.

The move will expand on a Biden administration effort last month to share roughly 4 million doses of the vaccine with Mexico and Canada, according to the Associated Press, which first reported on the sharing of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is widely in use around the world but the Food and Drug Administration has yet it get full approval.
