Salesman appears to brag about skirting Georgia law to sell CRT curriculum, in Project Veritas video

Georgia and other GOP-led states have banned the teaching of so-called Critical Race Theory in public schools.

Project Veritas has released an undercover sting video that appears to show a salesman admitting he circumvented Georgia law to sell so-called Critical Race Theory curriculum to public school systems in the state.

The video identifies the salesman as Quintin Bostic, a manager at Teaching Labs HQ, which describes itself as a "nonprofit organization that works to close the educational opportunity gap through teacher-led professional learning," and as a self-employed curriculum salesman.

"If you don't say the word 'critical race theory,' you can teach it," he seems to say in the video. Schools "don't even know what's going on. I'd say I'm a good salesman, but I'm also an evil salesman. Like, so bad."

CRT is essentially an academic theory that makes the argument there is inherent racism in U.S. institutions not generally taught at the elementary or high school level.

In April 2022, Georgia joined several other GOP-led states in banning schools from teaching "divisive" academic concepts about racism, which would include Critical Race Theory.

Neither Bostic nor Teaching Lab HQ replied to Just the News' request for comment before this story was posted.

Bostic also seem to say in the video he's sold the curriculum in the school districts of Georgia's Fulton and Cobb counties and that it is being used in kindergarten.

When asked in the video whether CRT is in the materials, Bostic appears to nod in the affirmative.

When pressed about whether school officials realized CRT content is in materials he's selling, Bostic replied: "They have no clue. And I'm like, 'This is great. This is good!'"

He also seems to call GOP Gov. Brian Kemp, who signed the ban into law, "an idiot."

Ask what would happen if officials learned about his sales, Bostic seems to reply, "Oh I would be nailed. I'm sure."

However, he also said he was not going to "lose his job" should officials learn about the sales.
