Military historian and podcaster Victor Davis Hanson, host of the eponymous "Victor Davis Hanson Show" on Just the News, is returning to Pepperdine University to serve as a distinguished visiting professor at the Public Policy School.

Hanson, who has taught international relations at the Southern California university for three semesters since 2009, said Tuesday that he is "delighted" to be returning to the school for fall 2023 as the first Terry Giles and Kalli O’Malley Distinguished Visiting Professor.

"At this stage in my teaching career and in our nation's history, I'm focusing my efforts on preparing the next generation of public leaders," the 69-year-old Hanson said.

Hanson plans on teaching a course every fall semester related to his expertise in military history, applied history and American politics, the Christian university said.
