Biden campaign claims 'no scenario' Trump can be declared winner on election night

In a finally election volley, Joe Biden's campaign is declaring there is "no scenario" where President Trump can legitimately claim victory on Election Night.

Jen O'Malley Dillon, Biden's campaign manager, on Monday compared a Trump election win declaration on Tuesday night to saying "COVID is over — even though we know it's not."

"It was reported yesterday that President Trump believes that if he wins the east coast battleground states — Florida, North Carolina and Georgia — he plans to go out and declare victory," O'Malley Dillon said. "And we want to be clear with you: If he tries to do that, that will not be true."

"Under no scenario will Donald Trump be declared a victor on election night," she said, adding the Biden campaign felt it was in a strong position to win the election.

The Trump campaign rejected the Democratic campaign's statement, saying Biden was simply bracing for defeat by creating a "Red Mirage" scenario where Trump leads on election night in key states but loses when all absentee ballots are counted.
