Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said during an interview on Wednesday's episode of The Water Cooler that President Biden should direct his attention toward the situation on the nation's southern border and not the Peach State's recently approved election law.
"In my opinion President Biden needs to focus on the southern border and not be so worried about untruths that he thinks he understands about Georgia's voting bill. We have Georgia National Guard working with Border Patrol flying missions, doing fleet maintenance out there on the southern border in Texas," he said.
Kemp's comments come as the U.S. faces an influx of migrants along its southern border, including many unaccompanied minors.
The governor said that "it's turning into a crisis out there. So the pictures you're seeing are real. That's gonna be devastating for our country and I think many of our states as well, as these individuals overflow into other states outside of the south-southwest."
