Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said during an interview on SiriusXM's "The Joe Madison Show" that young black voters who are gravitating toward President Trump are "shameful."

"It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump. I don't know why they would be doing it. I don't know why it is on their minds," said Waters, adding that she "will never, ever forgive them."

Waters said Trump is "a racist" who dog-whistles to white supremacist groups.

“For those black young men who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump, not only are they terrible mistaken, any of them showing their face, I will never, ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities,” said Waters.

During an interview in the spring, Joe Biden told Charlamagne Tha God that any person struggling to choose between his candidacy and that of president Trump's "ain't black."

"I tell you if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black," said Biden, a statement he later recanted and apologized for making.

Democratic House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, a man whose support of Joe Biden catapulted the former Vice President to a primary cycle victory earlier this year, recently said that he is "going to have to pray for" any black men voting for president Trump this election.
