Layoffs

Conservative grassroots organization FreedomWorks this week laid off 40% of its staff as it restructures following the Republican Party's unexpectedly poor showing in the November 2022 midterms.

President Adam Brandon told Politico that of the group's 50 staffers, roughly 20 fell victim to the layoff, among them Vice President Noah Wall.

"It's heartbreaking but we have to learn the lessons from what went wrong in 2022 and we can't pretend that there weren't systematic problems to miss that red wave," he said.
