The Heritage Foundation this week announced the receipt of one the largest gifts in its history.

TheĀ Diana Davis Spencer Foundation committed to gifting the non-profit $25 million over the 2023-2027 period.

The Davis family began donating to Heritage in 1979 with Shelby Cullom Davis serving as a trustee from that year until 1992. Kathryn Wasserman Davis served as an honorary trustee from 1994-2013.

Heritage President Kevin Roberts thanked the DDSF for its gift, saying "[w]e are incredibly grateful for the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation's commitment to The Heritage Foundation and its support for our mission to take back America."

"This commitment is a significant vote of confidence in the great work Heritage staff is doing day in and day out to restore self-governance to the American people and counter the Left's attempts to capture our nation's institutions... The continued support of the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation has been indispensable to our work, and we are excited to call them friends and allies in the fight for our nation's future," he continued.

Heritage will use the funds in myriad ways but highlighted that much of the gift would fund the organization's efforts to address the threat posed by China and to hold Big Tech firms accountable.
