Nikki Haley teases 2024 presidential bid
Former South Carolina Republican Gov. Nikki Haley on Thursday hinted at a potential 2024 presidential bid when discussing ongoing negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program.
President Joe Biden has sought to bring the United States back into the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or Iran Nuclear Deal, which President Barack Obama negotiated with Tehran in 2015. President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the agreement asserting that Iran was still pursuing its nuclear ambitions.
During the Christians United for Israel 2022 Summit, the former ambassador to the United Nations assured supporters that, should Biden enter into any deal with Iran, the next president would "shred it."
She did, however, add the curious addendum "on her first day in office" to the Tweet.

Speculation around a potential Haley candidacy has long persisted and hers often ranks among the top when discussing potential female candidates within the GOP.
Haley said in 2021 that she would not seek the presidency if Trump does so in 2024.
"I had a great working relationship with him," Haley said at the time. "I appreciated the way he let me do my job. I thought we did some fantastically great foreign policy things together. And look, I just wanna keep building on what we accomplished and not watch it get torn down."
Trump, meanwhile, said earlier this month that he had already decided on whether to launch a 2024 campaign. Though, he did not state what that decision might be, he told Vanity Fair “I feel very confident that, if I decide to run, I’ll win.”
