The court handling a civil suit involving Donald Trump on Friday released the tape of his deposition during which the former president denied the claims of a witness who testified that Trump had groped her on a 1979 flight.

The deposition came as part of E. Jean Carroll's civil suit against Trump for alleged sexual battery and defamation. Carroll has claimed that Trump raped her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s, which he denies.

One clip of the deposition tape shows Trump talking to attorney Roberta Kaplan, who is off the screen, addressing the claims of Jessica Leeds, who testified about her alleged experience with him on the 1979 flight.

His remarks follow Kaplan playing footage of a rally in which Trump denied Leeds' claims. Kaplan inquired as to whether Trump remarked on her appearance with his phrasing.

"When you said in that video that Leeds would not be your first choice, you were referring to her physical looks; correct?" Kaplan asked.

"Just the overall, not... I looked at her," he responded. "I see her. I hear what she says. Whatever."

Trump went on to directly address Kaplan, insisting he held no amorous inclinations toward her either.

"You wouldn't be a choice of mine, either, to be honest with you," he said. "I hope you're not insulted. I wouldn't under any circumstances have any interest in you."

"I'm honest when I say it," he concluded. "She, I would not have any interest in."
