Florida State Prosecutor Richard Mantei says non-governmental organizations (NGOs) made hundreds of millions of dollars off of the illegal immigration industry. “It’s essentially a funneling of a pass through for trafficking organizations. Some of them are very well aware of that fact and just don’t care and some are just simply trying to do their jobs,” he says.
