Fauci explains why he isn't wearing a face mask

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert and member of the White House coronavirus task force, explained Sunday why he wasn't wearing a face mask, despite new guidelines for Americans to wear one.
“The major reason to wear a face mask, is to protect you from infecting you,” Fauci said responding to a reporter’s question about why he was not wearing a face mask during the White House’s daily press briefing.
“I had my test yesterday and it’s negative,” he said.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday issued new guidance recommending Americans voluntarily wear face coverings to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
