NASA and Russia crew launch to the International Space Station amid coronavirus

NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy and two Russian cosmonauts, Anatoli Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner arrived safely Thursday to the International Space Station, after launching from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Thursday.
The trio is scheduled to open the hatches between their spacecraft and the space station and be welcomed aboard by NASA flight engineers Andrew Morgan and Jessica Meir and Expedition 62 Commander Oleg Skripochka of Roscosmos.
The planned launch comes at a time when many events have been postponed or canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
