Rep. Rick Crawford calls railroad strike "hostage situation"
The House approved the rules governing debate for a measure to adopt the tentative agreement reached in September 2022 between unions and railroads to avert a national rail strike. Members then began debate on the bill to prevent the work stoppage which Arkansas Rep. Rick Crawford referred to as a "hostage situation."
