Singer Celine Dion canceled her "Courage World Tour" and is reportedly unlikely to ever tour again after she was diagnosed with a rare, incurable neurological disorder.

Dion "will likely never tour again," a source close to the Canadian singer told CNN on Friday. "She is in a lot of pain. ... She does daily physical therapy."

"I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%," Dion said Friday. "It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again."

Dion had canceled her summer 2023 shows in December and rescheduled her spring 2023 shows to 2024 in December when she revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome. The disease is described by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke as a "rare, progressive neurological disorder" that includes stiff muscles and "[g]reater sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms."

People who purchased tickets for the canceled tour dates are able to receive refunds at the original point of sale.
