A Canadian family is offering a $35 million reward for a resolution to the shocking murder of their parents five years ago this week.

Jonathon Sherman told CBC this week that his family was adding $25 million to the $10 million reward already established to help solve the murder of Barry and Honey Sherman in December of 2017.

The billionaire couple was found strangled by their pool in North York that year; police said there were no signs of forced entry into their home.

Sherman said he has been “overwhelmed with pain, loss, and sorrow” since the death of his parents.

"Closure will not be possible until those responsible for this evil act are brought to justice," he said.
