Wagner chief calls off march to Moscow

Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin's name was listed among the 10 passengers of a plane that crashed Wednesday Russia, killing all people onboard, according to the Russian Civil Aviation Authority.

"An investigation has been launched into the crash of the Embraer aircraft, which occurred tonight in the Tver region. According to the list of passengers, among them is the name and surname of Yevgeny Prigozhin," the Russian aviation agency said as translated, state outlet TASS reported.

However, the Wagner Group is still holding out hope that he survived. According to the mercenary group's Telegram channel, Prigozhin may be on a second plane.

His reported death comes less than two months after he led a brief failed uprising against the Kremlin.
