Poll ahead of debate: Voters see Biden’s age as more of a liability compared to Trump

The poll results reveal that 67% of Americans think Biden is too old to be president compared to 37% who think Trump is too old.

Voters view President Biden’s age of 81 as more of a liability to serving as president than former President Donald Trump’s at 78, according to a new Gallup poll released before the first 2024 presidential debate on Thursday. 

The poll results reveal that 67% of Americans think Biden is too old to be president compared to 37% who think Trump is too old. 

The poll surveyed 1,005 American adults from June 3-23, and has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.
