Missing British television presenter Michael Mosley's body was found Sunday on a Greek island following a multi-day search.

Mosley's wife, Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley, confirmed his death in a statement.

"It’s devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband," she said, according to the BBC.

Michael Mosley, 67, went missing Wednesday after he went for a walk on a beach on the Greek island of Symi. His wife said he went the wrong direction on a hike and collapsed in an area that his body could not easily be located.

His body was found early Sunday on a hill near the beach.

Mosley was known for his appearances in the U.K. on TV and radio, as well as his column in the Daily Mail.
